This piece originated as a commission
for
the American Paint Horse Association champion Superior Halter stallion "Tin
Man". Owned by Suzie Whitman and Nancy Olson of Hermosa, SD. He is a very striking
sorrel overo stallion receiving championship status due to his wonderful gaits, his
ridability and his near perfect halter conformation which he passes on to his offspring.
I was allowed to spend a lot of time with this easily managed stallion. I
lunged him and found his temperament easy to work with compared to other stallions I
had met. It was a pleasure working this stallion. Suzie and Nancy have purchased many out
of this edition.
